Why not try zip - lining through the trees or take a scenic glacier hike, this is such a fantastic place to start your Canadian adventure.

Day 2-3 Wells Grey Provincial Park
Calling all outdoor lovers! Wells Grey Provincial Park will be right up your street, hill, field - whatever! It promises to amaze. From lush alpine meadows to wildlife spotting to glistening waterfalls… Sound good? I thought so….! Helmchen Falls is a 141 metre waterfall on the Murtle river. There are bears roaming free in the meadowland filled with wild flowers so you really feel like you are in the wild! Tonight we shall carry on with the wild theme and stay join a rustic ranch. Accommodation: Guest ranch bunkhouse included (multi-share)
Day 4-5: Jasper National Park
Newsflash, we are in Canada! The mountains do not stop, and neither does the lush green forest, or the glaciers, or the valleys. Our driver has to keep their eyes on the road but you don’t. Amazing views are not the only thing that will keep your camera occupied, remember to watch out for grizzly bears, wolves, and even caribou. Let’s hike or bike to make the best of this fabulous scenery. one of the highlights in Jasper is a walk to Columbia ice field and its not so difficult to see why!! Another awe inspiring trail is the hike to the Maligne Canyon, so please hike and bike around this stunning area there is so much to explore! Accommodation: Hostel nights included
Day 6-7: Banff National Park
So this is only one of the most famous national parks in the world, no biggie! Air will never taste as sweet, you will never be in touch with as many beavers, porcupines, elk, and bears. You can take in all the dazzling views by canoe, showshoe, car… maybe by bike? There is 1600 km of trails for you to explore and even a gorgeous little town steeped in history. Make sure you take the opportunity to ride the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain. If you’d rather relax then head to the hot springs…that’s where you’ll find me, anyway! Accommodation: Hostel nights included
Day 8: Lake Louise
You are currently thinking: Can this get any more beautiful? Lake Louise is now in the room…! Otherwise known as the ‘Gem of the Rockies'? We can hike over to the Plain of Six Glaciers, or we canoe across the lake, what more could you want? You will be in awe of this stunning scenery, pinching yourself… is this really real! Well that was cheesy… but honestly that’s what you will feel like! Promise! Accommodation: Hostel night included
Day 9: Glacier National Park & Kelowna
Just because Wells Gray does not have ‘National Park’ in its name, does not mean that it isn’t equally stunning to the parks you’ve experienced so far. Canada’s fourth highest waterfall Helmcken Falls lives here, and be warned: this is your last up close and personal nature stop, so take in the sunny meadows and open skies as we are headed back to city life tomorrow!
Accommodation: Hostel night included
Day 10: Vancouver
We leave the great Canadian Wilderness behind us and return to the hustle and bustle of Vancouver today which is a beauty in itself! Surrounded by water and lovely scenery, a rather cosmopolitan city with heaps to do! You do not have to end the tour today, you can stay an extra night or two, we can help you organise accommodation as there is more to Vancouver than just a half day visit! Take a trip to Grouse Mountain, or if you are a foodie visit Richmond Night Market.
Friendly advice: Our trip ends at about 5pm at the hotel in Vancouver. If you want to fly out on the last night please don’t book a flight departing before 9pm just to be on the safe side!
Flamingo, September 2015
My first trip and boy did it not fail - what an awesome holiday! Started off in Vancouver and travelled north to Whistler, Clearwater (Wells Grey), Jasper, Banff, Kelowna and returning back to Vancouver. The weather ranged from 4 degrees to 40 degrees centigrade so pack clothes for all temperatures.
Banff was a particular favourite, great night life and plenty of pubs and clubs to explore.
Spend a little extra time before or after the trip in Vancouver. Definitely go whale watching, trick is to book the whale watching as early as possible incase you are weathered off. This happened to me but I was able to book for the next day without messing up any plans.
Hostels were great, I was expecting that absolute worst but we had brilliant accommodation (apart from the hostel in Jasper... huge multi share room, showers not clean and light curfews...).
The Van was modern, great air con (and heating!) and speakers for playing music.
We saw a black bear and 2 grizzlies fairly up close as well as Elk, Caribou and Orca. Just an all round brilliant holiday (where shall I go next?)

Wow and amazing!
This was an amazing trek- definitely worth paying every penny. I did things that was totally out of my comfort zone- highly recommend the White Water Rafting. I hated the Jasper National Park hostel as it was sharing with other travellers and the bed was too small.
I saw the beautiful sights of the national parks and there were lots of scenery to admire particularly when visiting Wells Grey National Park.
Definitely recommend the whole trek- it is something you will never forget!
