DAY 1: SPLIT TO HVAR
Are you ready for the best week of your life?? Settle onto the boat with a freshly made lunch with your trip mates as we hit the high seas! Take in your first swim in the Adriatic sea- do you dare jump off the boat yet?? We hit up Croatia’s coolest island Hvar, popular with celebrities. Gawp at the huge, modern yachts in the medieval harbour. Check out the goods at the markets, or go check out the ancient fort! After dinner we’ll try out Tequila Boom Booms at the famous Kiva Bar, and then we dance the night away under the stars of the Carpe Diem Club!
DAY 2: HVAR TO MLJET
Wake up to realise that you are on the beautiful Dalmatian coast! Wah! Soak up all its glory as we head to the island paradise of Mljet, which houses Croatia’s spectacular National Parks. There’s salt water lakes to marvel at, as well as a secluded abbey (you have to get there by boat!). Tonight we dock at the port of Pomena.
Things To Do:
Bike hire in the National Parks
Traditional BBQ dinner
Sail across Mljet salt lakes in a small hired boat to explore a secluded abbey
DAY 3: MLJET TO DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik is considered the ‘Peal of the Adriatic’… or, as the GoT fans know it, King’s Landing. We have an early lunch so that we have the most of the day to explore the beautiful, old city. There are the famous medieval city walls, the East West Beach (or any of the other small, hidden beaches!). In the evening, make sure you take time to indulge in the local cuisine and cocktails. We’ll party at the Club Revelin (inside a 15th century fortress!).
DAY 4: DUBROVNIK TO KORCULA
Marco Polo’s island awaits us today- check out the Old Town and a unique local sword dance (complete with costumes and music!). Let our guide take us on an orientation walk of the town. Tonight, find yourself a cosy little sunset bar to watch the breathtaking sunset, and then check out the local nightlife!
DAY 5: KORCULA TO MAKARSKA
Today we head over to Makarska, a seaside resort for locals and tourists alike. It’s home to the famous long pebble beach, has super cool water sports, and give you a spot of shopping. Our guide will tell us more about this amazing place on arrival! We recommend that you have dinner in a local taverna today, because local cuisine here is really out of this world! The island is full of great places to go out at night. If you’re there in peak season, don’t miss out on the Rave in a Cave at the famous Club Deep (it used to be a weapons depot in WW2!).
DAY 6: MAKARSKA TO OMIS
We’ll cruise to Pucisca this morning, which is the marble capital of the world. Bathe in the turquoise waters that the island has to offer, and later on we’ll head over to the pirate town Omis. After our orientation walk, you get a bit of beach time. Now, this is important… Bring a pirate costume for the infamous Pirate Party!
DAY 7: OMIS TO SPLIT
We get free time this morning to relax on the boat, or at the beach. If you fancy, stroll into town for a coffee or go for a mountain walk to a fortress. We set sail to Split as we take our lunch on board. Chill out on the Riva waterfront or maybe check out what the vibrant city has to offer. This is our last night so let’s make it count as we dance the night away with our newfound friends!
DAY 8: SPLIT
Sadly we say goodbye to our new friends (pirates) and we check out at 9am. You can get a transfer to the airport from the harbour, or we’ll just wish you luck on your further travels!
Best Trip Ever!
The trip was incredible, everything I love in a holiday, sailing, swimming, islands and culture. The highlight was the national park, I would recommend that to anyone. Oh, and the food was incredible!
