We have tried to make these terms and conditions as simple as possible to read through.  It is extremely important that you read through these before you book. We know its boring stuff but it really is importantYour access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

Open dated tickets: You must book your travel dates in advance with the individual Service Provider as per details provided on your voucher. As a general advice we recommend 7 days in advance.

Tickets booked open-dated are valid for the rate period booked. If you travel after the specified rate period you may be asked to pay locally a supplement for the price difference between rate periods.

Tickets with booked dates: It is your responsibility to ensure you redeem your tickets on the dates booked. If you wish to change these dates please refer to your booking agent.

Bookings must be reconfirmed with the operator directly at least 48 hours prior to travel (the telephone number is provided on each voucher).

CANCELLATION POLICY (Aust, NZ and Asia)

Cancellation of a booking or part thereof will incur the fees listed below as well as a 1% administration fee. Credit Card fees are also non-refundable. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.

• 30 – 60 Days 25% of Fare
• 14 days – 29 days 50% of Fare • Within 14 days 100% of Fare

CANCELLATION POLICY (Fiji)

  • 60-30 days prior to departure – 25% of fare
  • 21 – 29 days prior to departure – 50% of fare
  • 14 -20 days prior to departure – 75% of fare
  • Within 14 days prior to departure – 100% of fare

Cancellations should be made with your booking agent as additionally their cancellation fees may differ to the above. Please note any airfare components are non-refundable.
AMENDMENT POLICY (FOR AUSTRALIA, NZ AND ASIA)
More than 1 months notice prior to commencement of travel will incur no charge. For any amendments within one month from departure date our regular cancellation policy may apply, however the final decision will be made by our ground supplier. For open-dated tickets the terms and conditions will take place once the tour or activity has been confirmed to travel.
For Fiji All-inclusive Tours, changes made more than 30 days prior to departure will incur $500 Fijian Dollars (including taxes) plus any difference in price between the original booking and the new date/ tour which is selected. Changes made within 30 days of the scheduled departure will incur full cancellation fees plus any difference in price between the original booking and the new date/ tour which is selected.
For Fiji Flexible Passes, Change of booking within 24 hours of travel, including after travel has commenced will incur a FJ$100 amendment fee • More than 24 hours notice $20 FJD • More than 1 months notice prior to commencement of travel No charge. Please note that amendment fees will be additional to any amendment/cancellation fees imposed by the resort(s) affected.
Bula Pass No amendment fee applies as the Pass is not activated until the first day of travel.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our operators reserve the right to alter the route or itinerary of any of its tours and activities and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. Sometimes roads or activities will be closed due to seasonality, extreme heat or rainfall and is beyond the control of operators. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of 4 passengers are required to operate. It may be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour if minimum numbers

are not met. We are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services or any associated costs resulting from such delays. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage and cannot be responsible for children whilst on tour. Parents are entirely responsible for their children whilst all care will be taken. Components of tours are subject to Cultural conditions. Participants may be absent due to cultural commitments with minimal prior notification and We reserves the right to amend the itinerary in these circumstances with no obligation to refund. Components of trips are dependent on many external factors and We cannot be held liable if trip components are not available on the day of travel.

MEALS

Please refer to each individual tour / package to establish which meals are included. Meals are indicated as: B = Breakfast, L = Lunch and D = Dinner.

PARTICIPATION

Most tours require a certain level of participation from guests. This may include assisting and cleaning afterward with preparation of meals, collecting firewood and sweeping out tents.

Fitness requirements:

All products require a moderate level of fitness. As a general rule, pax need to be fit enough to walk an average of 6 kilometres a day, though not all tours will require this amount of walking. For Fijian tours you are required to be able to swim. If you are concerned about your client’s suitability to a tour, please contact us and we can provide more information regarding the physical demands of that particular product and often recommend a more appropriate product if their first choice is not suitable.

LUGGAGE

Luggage should be restricted to 20 kg per person in a soft bag or backpack (except for tours starting and finishing in the same location where a 10kg limit applies) with a small day pack for easy access to camera, sunblock etc. Those starting and finishing in a different location can carry 20kg at time of booking with a soft bag.

ITINERARY DISCLAIMER

Itineraries are correct at time of publication and may differ slightly to the one displayed in the brochure/website. Occasionally itineraries change as operators make improvements based on comments from past travellers. Additionally, National parks alter their policies so that certain walks are no longer available for safety reasons. If we are unable to utilise a product, service or activity detailed, a suitable alternative will be offered where possible.

CHILDREN

Please request child rates at time of booking as many of our operators provide a child policy.

FEES AND LEVIES

Any additional fees/levies are noted within each itinerary. Credit card payments attract a 1.5-2.0% surcharge.

LIABILITY

Our suppliers make every effort to safeguard clients, and we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness to any customer which is beyond our control. Passengers should note that adventure travel involves a higher than normal risk and a signed release may be required from all participants from a number of our activity providers. we work with the best operators available but takes no responsibility for any act of neglect by any operator whose services are used as part of your trip.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is NOT included and we state that you MUST obtain your own travel insurance from either us or separately form another provider of insurance but you must obtain it yourself before traveling. We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. It is the clients personal responsibility to purchase their own travel insurance to cover any liability which may be incurred to us, or our service providers. We strongly recommend that clients source travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on either the confirmed departure date, or a connecting service at the end of a tour. Our operators often work in remote locations and meeting flights or other transport arrangements after tour cannot be guaranteed. Travel insurance recommended with a low excess payment, to make claiming on cancelled tours worthwhile. Travel Insurance is compulsory when travelling in Asia on our programs.

SMOKING & DRINKING

Government regulations prohibit smoking and the drinking of alcohol inside tourist vehicles (smoking and drinking should be limited to stops along the route).

VALIDITY

Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST for Australian, Asian and Fijian product, New Zealand Dollars inclusive of GST for New Zealand product, and are valid for travel until 31st March 2021.
